Wanderbound Book Retreats was founded by Nicole and Lauren – best friends of more than 20 years who shared two great loves, reading and traveling! After years of swapping book recommendations, traveling together, and feeling just a little bit isolated in our reading obsession, we created Wanderbound - trips for women who love books and want to experience them with other women who get it.

Nicole works with kids, is a mom of 2 boys, and self-proclaimed planner of all things fun. She loves dystopian fiction, romantasy, and sci-fi, and firmly believes every trip should end with another one already booked.

Lauren is a nurse, scuba diver, fantasy lover, and proud collector of fictional crushes. She loves romantasy and dark romance, and traveling to exotic places.
